It's a black and white porcelain cat with a hole in its back, that can be used as a candle holder, a pencil/pencil crayon holder, a pen/marker holder, a paint brush holder, a whatever holder. It's basically a mini storage holder.

(Not sure what its actual purpose is, but that's what I would use it for.)
